Sweet as a Peach
I call this card, Sweet as a Peach. I mean, look at it. Don’t you feel the same? This is another bookbinding fold card inspired by independent demonstrator Wendy Cranford (she does beautiful work!). This is the second one we did for my September Stamp Camp to show my attendees how the same card in different colors/designs is what makes cardmaking so much fun…and easy!! I’m sure you’ll agree that this one is just peachy!
To start, prep all of your elements:
4-1/4”x11” Crumb Cake CS (120953) for your card base
4”x 4” Basic White CS
4”x 4” You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper (or whichever DSP you’d like to use)
3-3/4” x 3-3/4” You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper (or again, whichever DSP you’d like to use)
1” x 4” You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper (or whichever DSP you’d like to use)
3” x 3” Basic White CS
Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (151326)
Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ Pad (147105)
Calypso Coral Classic Stampin’ Pad (147101)
Now it’s time to put your elements together.
Score the card base at 5-1/2” and 6-3/4”.
Add the ribbon to the left side, tie a bow or a knot and then fold the CS in half and glue the center together flat at the scored points.
Add the layers of designer series paper to the front.
Stamp the sentiment and flowers from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set (155050) on the 3”x3” piece of white cardstock
Add the 4” x 4” piece of Basic White CS to the inside.
You can also stamp a sentiment or flowers on the inside of the card.
Happy Stamping!!
