All About The Stamping Cafe’
Welcome to The Stamping Cafe’ my name is Christy and I live in sunny Southern California. As my children are now grown, I needed to find something to do with my extra time and just knew I needed a hobby that I was passionate about. A dear friend invited me to her “Stamp Camp” for her new business. I had no idea what a Stamp Camp was but I wanted to support her in her new business, so I went. It was at this Stamp Camp that a new passion was born! I learned the art of paper crafting via Stampin’ Up! and fell in love immediately! I have never considered myself to be particularly artistic so I was shocked to find out that I actually had this artistic side of me that just needed to be allowed to roam free! I am still in disbelief sometimes at some of the beautiful things that can be created with some very simple products…ink, paper, and a few good rubber stamp sets! Step it up a little and add in some bling and pretty ribbon and OMG…the possibilities are literally endless!
My hope for The Stamping Cafe’ website, and my business, is that you find that inner creativity that you didn’t even know existed! For me, it’s not about making money. It’s about creating, sharing, and finding others that love the same things! It’s good for my soul and something I was longing for that I didn’t even realize. Could that be you too?
Grab a cup of coffee or tea and let’s go on this journey together!

A Fun Ride Indeed!!
I’m So Excited!!
A little over a year ago, I was introduced to a new hobby by a sweet friend. I never knew I had any artistic ability and wow, what a wonderful surprise that I had this creative side that had been in hiding! LOL Immediately, I was hooked, and within a few months and armed with a small arsenal of hand-me-down stamps, ink, and paper, I decided to go on a new adventure. I started by signing up for the Paper Pumpkin subscription, but not long after, I signed up to become a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator a few months later. I mostly signed up for the sweet discount which helped build my stash from my hand-me-downs to a sweet crafting area full of all the things I need to create beautiful things. Soon, I realized I wanted to make this more than just a discount, I really wanted to teach and share with people. I have found so much joy in this little venture. I’m not making much money yet, but the happiness it brings me when I’m teaching a new person a skill and the joy they get when they create something, more than makes up for the dollars! From Stamp Camps at my house to Zoom meetings with newfound stamping friends…my heart is full!
